Asiea Naqash inspects Drug Store Barzalla | KNO

Minister of State for Housing & Urban Development Social Welfare, Health & Medical Education, Asiea Naqash today conducted a surprise visit of a provincial drug store here at Barzalla.

She took stock of various drugs and reviewed the availability of various surgical equipments available at the store. 

The Minister also inspected the availability of medicines, surgical instruments, and life-saving drugs stored at the store.

Ms Naqash stressed upon the concerned to ensure that hospitals in the Valley should have adequate supply of medicines.

During the inspection, the Minister also asked the officials to ensure that only quality drugs are made available to the people, adding the medicines should be stored properly so that people get avail their benefit.

Ms Naqash also directed that the drugs should be in the custody of Medical Superintendent for greater transparency and for ensuring its proper distribution.

The Minister said efforts should be made to ensure that requisitions from end user institutions are received well in time.

Ms Naqash was informed about the facilities and measures needed to further augment the infra and other facilities.
